Recipe: quick onion pickles
These are quick, yummy little pickles. Perfect for a summery BBQ or topping for
burgers and tacos!
Quick Onion Pickles
1 small onion, shaved or thinly sliced
1t cumin seeds
1/4t salt
1T sugar
vinegar to cover
place shaved onion in bowl
add cumin, salt & sugar
cover with vinegar (you can use a mild flavored vinegar or red wine vinegar)
stir & let sit at least 30 minutes
store in airtight container and refrigerate any leftovers
